Since 1974, the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist and the Franciscan Life Process Center (FLPC) have assisted in the healthy development of individuals and communities of people in West Michigan communities.

Located on a 230-acre farm approximately five miles north of Lowell, FLPC is one of 12 established Centers throughout the United States and internationally that form the Franciscan Life Center Network, Inc., a nonprofit organization having 501(c)(3) status.  Each Center provides programs based on the needs of its community of service and revises programming as community needs change and evolve. 

The Advisory Board is comprised of individuals from communities within Kent and Ionia counties.  Staff hold degrees in preschool, primary and secondary education; social work; counseling; sociology; occupational therapy; music therapy; nursing; fine art; and communications.

 A Scholarship Fund is available to assist individuals and families in paying established fees.  We hold a variety of fund-raising events to replenish the Scholarship Fund (see Events Calendar).
