IFEfest 2010 Weekend
Author and university professor Elizabeth M. Kelly will be guest speaker for LIFEfest 2010’s Evening of Inspiration, part of the Franciscan Life Process Center’s fund raiser weekend on October 9-10. LIFE fest weekend includes Saturday night’s dinner and presentation and Sunday afternoon’s, A Country Sampler, family picnic and games.
The annual benefit is the single most important special event for the Center. Over these two days, ticket sales, donor contributions and auction purchases help the Center to continue its mission throughout the year - providing music therapy, retreat, preschool, art classes, counseling services, music lessons, and volunteer services.
Saturday: Evening of Inspiration Moves to New Venue
Because of the major road construction around the Lowell and Ada area, Saturday night’s dinner has been moved to the Grand Rapids Ballet’s new Peter Martin Wege Theatre in downtown Grand Rapids. The beautiful facility offers escape from weather concerns and ample free parking. In an attempt to lessen the financial burden faced by a great many patrons and with the hopes to increase attendance, this year’s Evening of Inspiration dinner price has been reduced to $45 per adult and $30 per youth.

She is managing editor for UST’s academic journal, Logos: a Journal of Catholic Thought and Culture, and also teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in the Catholic Studies program.
